⚠  First time opening? Do this first.
  1. 1. Download the DMG and drag The Long View into your Applications folder
  2. 2. When macOS blocks it with a security warning, click Done — this is normal for apps outside the App Store
  3. 3. Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → scroll down and click Open Anyway
  4. 4. Enter your Mac password if prompted. The app opens normally from then on.
This is a one-time step. The Long View only connects to the internet to fetch live market prices — everything else stays on your machine.
